The scenic mountain bike circular route to Galgenberg is ideal for beginners! The route through the Konzer Tälchen showcases scenic highlights!
The route takes you from the town of Konz up to the heights through the Konzer Tälchen and back to Wiltingen on the Saar, then on over the Sonnenberg to Kanzem. The last section of the circular path runs relaxed along the Saar cycle path back to the starting point in Konz.

Tourist Information Konz - Saarstraße - Brückenstraße - town hall - Am Markt - Schillerstraße - cross the railway bridge - roundabout towards Trier - left towards "Radweg Konzer Tälchen" - Konzer swimming pool - left towards Roscheider Hof open-air museum - towards Niedermennig - cross district road - towards Kommlingen - tip: detour to the Galgenberg viewpoint - continue to Wiltingen - cross Saarbogen - district road - towards Sonnenberg - Kanzem dam - left of the Saar on the Saar cycle path to Konz - cross Saar bridge - Saarstraße - Tourist Information.
Tip
A detour to the viewpoint "Galgenberg" in Kommlingen is worthwhile: enjoy the stunning view over the unspoiled Saarbogen.
Getting there
Coming via the B51, you reach Konz.
Parking
Free parking is available at the main station in Konz or Am Markt directly at the town hall.
Public transit
DB route Trier - Saarbrücken to Konz station or DB route Wittlich - Trier - Perl to Konz Mitte station.
