This varied mountain bike route is only recommended for well-trained mountain bikers due to the course profile and the length of the route!
This XXL route leads through forests and vineyards, through the Konzer valley and the Saargau as well as through the picturesque Mannebach valley! The route can also be ridden in two stages. First stage to Serrig and start again from there the next day.

This route proposal runs along different cycling paths in the region. There is no uniform signage for the route.

Kanzem - weir - Saarbrücken at the Saar bend - Wiltingen - Konzer valley - Oberemmel - direction Vierherrenborn up to above Serrig - Saar riverbank - weir - cross the Saar - Taben-Rodt - Freudenburg - Trassem - Kahren - Mannebach - Wawern - Kanzem
Tip
Above Serrig is the viewpoint "Beautiful View," from which you can get a view of the "Hammer Loop." In good weather, you can watch hang gliders here as they glide down into the Saar valley!
Getting there
You can reach Kanzem via the L 137 coming from Saarburg or Konz.
Parking
Free parking is sufficiently available at the weir in Kanzem.
Public transit
Kanzem is located on the DB route Saarbrücken - Trier. From Kanzem station, it is only a short distance to the start and finish of the route at the weir.
