The walk leads from the top station of the Saarburg chairlift through the well-known vineyard "Saarburger Rausch" down into the town.
"Above the rooftops of the town!" Enjoy the leisurely ride with the chairlift up to the Warsberg and stroll through the vineyards down into the town. On 5 panels, you will receive interesting information about the geology, viticulture, sights, and climate of the town of Saarburg. At particularly beautiful viewpoints, you will find resting places from which you can enjoy the magnificent view over the town and surrounding area.

Directions
We recommend taking the chairlift up:
Behind the top station, turn left - downhill, follow the vineyard path - at the intersection of the two vineyard paths, turn left - stairs - Fliederberg - roundabout - 2nd exit into the street "Im Hagen" - straight ahead to the parking lot at the valley station
Please note that this hiking trail is not a certified premium hiking trail and there is no continuous signage of the route. Furthermore, the path partly runs on asphalted service roads and not on narrow paths.
Tip
Combine the hike with a chairlift ride (intersection Im Hagen/ Erdenbach, 54439 Saarburg).
Please note that due to sections with stairs, the path is only partially suitable for strollers.
Getting there
You can reach the town of Saarburg via the B 51 or the B 407.
Parking
Free parking is available at the valley station of the chairlift as well as at the top station.
Additional free and all-day parking options are located near the swimming pool/at the city parking lot and the parking lot opposite the entrance to the REWE market.
Further paid parking options are available directly at the Saarburg station.
Public transit
By train: Saarbrücken-Trier line to the station in Saarburg, from there the chairlift is reachable on foot in 5 minutes.
