Circular route from the village around the higher situated district "Heißer Stein", called "Kuhlert" in Reil, back to the valley.
Footpath with partly steep sections through vineyards and wooded, natural stream valleys (Burgerbach, Pfahlbach). On the plateau characterized by grassland and diverse shrub structures is the district Heißer Stein with the nearby motocross track, offering good views of the Moselle valley and the nearby town of Burg.
The path is marked as R5.
General information
Directions
From the start in a southern direction, the route goes through vineyards to the valley of the Burgerbach. It follows the stream through a wooded valley quite steeply uphill. Through the forest over meadows to the motocross track (where world championship races have already taken place). Then through the valley of the Pfahlbach back to the start.
