Past the Roman Villa Urbana it goes back uphill into the Longuich Forest and then down into the Ruwer valley near Mertesdorf. Via Eitelsbach and Mertesdorf you reach the Ruwer High Forest cycle path and follow the Ruwer uphill to Waldrach. From here the path now follows the Bausbach uphill back to Osburg.

General information

Directions

From the starting point at the parking lot of the Hochwaldhalle in Osburg the path leads towards Thomm and further over the ridge between the Ruwer and Moselle valley. After 5.4 km it goes downhill towards Fell. Through Fell and Fastrau the route continues to the Moselle at Longuich. In Longuich we rest at the Roman Villa Urbana. From here it goes back up again through the Longuich Forest to the "Kenner Sang." From there the path goes downhill towards the Lower Ruwer valley. After just under 22 km we reach the wine village Trier-Eitelsbach. From there it goes via Mertesdorf to the Ruwer High Forest cycle path, which we follow upstream the Ruwer to Waldrach. In Waldrach at kilometer 26.5 we turn left onto Hermeskeiler Straße, ride to the roundabout. We leave the roundabout at the 3rd exit towards Riveris / Thomm. Shortly after leaving Waldrach we turn right towards Riveris. After 28.3 km we then turn left and follow the Bausbach. After 900 m we turn right and in switchbacks go uphill towards Osburg,
