Enjoy the landscape in the vineyard area "Kinheimer Rosenberg" and explore the villages Kinheim and Lösnich
Vineyard hike through the "Kinheimer Rosenberg" and the village Lösnich with a great view of the Mosel and sufficient rest opportunities, e.g. for a picnic. Points of interest are the St. Vitus Church, the Kindeler sports field, the water treading facility and the 1962 built and only 4m wide bridge in Kinheim.
General information
Directions
The hike leads up Borgasse (hiking trail 7), through the vineyard area "Kinheimer Rosenberg" (shortly above the village change from hiking trail 7 to 21) towards Lösnicher Bridge with a great view of the Mosel. It continues over the Lösnicher Bridge, then right into the village. Then you pass through the village center with the St. Vitus Church. Before leaving the village, turn right (Zum Burgberg) and follow the farm road towards Kindeler sports field, passing the water treading facility and then over the 1962 built bridge, only 4m wide, back to Kinheim.
If you want to take a small detour to the former Roman villa, instead of turning left to the sports field, go straight ahead and take the next left.
