Two-kilometre barrier-free walk to Warsberg holiday park with several places to sit and rest, inviting you to linger.

The trail starts 100 metres behind the mountain station of the Saarburg chairlift.  The highlight of the tour is the vantage point halfway along the trail, which offers a beautiful view of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. At the end of the walk, a supra-regional network of hiking trails connects, leading for example to the Kreuzberg lookout point, to the St. Lambert chapel or to Ayl. The destinations can also be combined as a circular walk. Why not combine your excursion with a ride on the Saarburg chairlift! During the 700-metre ride between the town of Saarburg and the top station on the Warsberg, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Saar Valley. There is a lift at the top station of the chairlift. Wheelchair users must be able to sit independently to use the chairlift.

General information

Directions

The trail starts 100 metres behind the mountain station of the Saarburg chairlift. Initially, the trail runs through the forest, then parallel to the road until you reach the Naturparkblick viewpoint. At the level of the reception of the Landal holiday park, turn slightly right again into the forest to the end of the easy trail. From here you have the option of hiking to the beautiful wine village of Ayl or the Kreuzberg viewpoint with panoramic views of the Saar Valley. These destinations are no longer accessible without barriers.

Tip
