A steep ascent with lots of information and wonderful views of the wine villages Briedel and Pünderich and the Pünderich hillside viaduct.

The wine educational trail leads from the ferry dock on the Moselle side opposite the town up to Marienburg and crosses the single vineyard of the same name. After crossing with the Moselle ferry, it goes over 440 steps and winding paths past 26 panels that provide information about grape varieties, wine growing, and the local history. This makes the steep ascent in the Zellerland an entertaining lesson about wine. Several resting places and charming views of the Moselle valley invite you to pause time and again.
