One of the most famous castles is Eltz Castle, which can be reached on foot in about two hours (5.3 km). It is a hilltop castle from the 12th century and is arguably the most well-known of its kind. A visit is definitely worth it. Tours are possible and are certainly worth a trip.

Among them the Eltzer Burgpanorama Trail, the Nette Slate Path, and many others in the Eifel region and also around and in the beautiful Moselle Valley.
