Our holiday home is located in the heart of the Saarschleifenland. The Saarschleifenland is particularly known for the Saarschleife, an impressive bend of the Saar River near Mettlach. The landscape in this region is characterized by forests, hills, apple orchards, and vineyards. Hiking trails with spectacular viewpoints, cycling paths along the Saar, boating, and canoeing attract nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to the region in ever-increasing numbers. It is also a popular destination for wellness and health tourism. There are several spa resorts and thermal baths where you can indulge and relax.
Our dog-friendly holiday accommodation warmly welcomes both two-legged and four-legged guests!
With us, not only do you enjoy a relaxing holiday – your dog will also have a great time. An agility course is available on the premises for play, exercise, and training. After an active day, you can conveniently clean your four-legged friend in our dog shower with warm water and provided towels.
In each apartment, we also provide a dog blanket, a food bowl, and a water bowl, so your dog feels at home from the very start.

Our holiday home opened in 2022. In 5 individually and high-quality furnished holiday apartments and 1 holiday house, couples, families, or groups of up to 8 people can find space. Dogs are welcome, and a dog shower with warm water and drying towels is available for them. Each apartment is complemented by a private terrace, garden, or balcony. For the outdoor area, outdoor furniture, loungers and chairs with cushions, a sun umbrella, and a charcoal grill are available.
A charging station powered by the photovoltaic system is available for electric vehicles. Bicycles and e-bikes can be securely stored and charged in a separate room.
Relax in the wellness barn
Our holiday home is complemented by a 750 m² spa resort. It has everything that makes your stay unforgettable and unique. In our wellness barn, there is a saltwater pool measuring 8m x 3.75m and with a depth of 1.55m, which is heated to 28 degrees all year round.
There is also a large sauna for up to 10 people, a shower with a rain and Kneipp nozzle, and a beautiful relaxation room for the cold days.
Hot tub for up to 8 people
Outside the wellness barn is a covered south-facing hot tub with air and massage jets for up to 8 people, surrounded by a large garden lounge for resting and relaxing.

An advance payment of 25% will be charged after booking.
The remaining payment is to be made in cash on site.
Arrival is possible from 3 pm to midnight. Departure is required by 11 am.
Other arrival and departure times are possible by prior arrangement.
Keys are handed over contactlessly via a key box.
Pets are allowed for a fee of 30€ per stay.
If you are coming by car, you can take the A8 motorway and exit at junction 4 Merzig-Wellingen-Wehingen. From there it is only two kilometres to your destination. Simply follow the signs for Wehingen on the L170 and then turn right into the village after passing the town sign.
The small village is well laid out and has little traffic - so you are sure to quickly find your destination in Markusstraße!
