Our holiday home is located in the heart of Saarschleifenland. The Saarschleifenland is particularly famous for the Saarschleife, an impressive loop of the Saar near Mettlach. The landscape in this region is characterised by forests, hills, apple orchards and vineyards. Hiking trails with spectacular viewpoints, cycle paths along the Saar, boating and canoeing on the Saar are attracting nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to the region in ever increasing numbers. It is also a popular destination for wellness and health tourism. There are several spas and thermal baths where you can pamper yourself and relax.
Modern holiday flats await you
Our holiday home was opened in 2022. There is room for couples, families or groups of up to 8 people in 5 individually high-quality furnished holiday flats and 1 holiday home. Dogs are welcome, a dog shower with hot water and drying towels are available for them. Each flat is complemented by a secluded terrace, garden or balcony. Outdoor furniture, sun loungers and chairs with cushions, parasol and a charcoal barbecue are available for the outdoor area.
A charging station with electricity from the photovoltaic system is available for electric vehicles. Bicycles and e-bikes can be safely parked and charged in a separate room.
Relax in the wellness barn
Our holiday home is complemented by a 750 m² spa resort. This has everything to make your stay unforgettable and unique. In our wellness barn there is a saltwater pool measuring 8m x 3.75m and a depth of 1.55m, which is heated to 28 degrees all year round.
There is also a large sauna for up to 10 people, a shower with a splash and Kneipp shower and a lovely relaxation room for cold days.
Hot tub for up to 8 people
Outside the wellness barn is a covered, south-facing hot tub with air and massage jets for up to 8 people, surrounded by a large garden lounge for resting and relaxing.

An advance payment of 25% will be charged after booking.
The remaining payment must be made in cash on site.
Cancellations up to 5 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged at 50% of the total price.
Arrival is possible from 3 pm to midnight. Departure is required by 11 am.
Other arrival and departure times are possible by prior arrangement.
The keys are handed over contactless via key box.
Pets are allowed for a fee of €30 for the Gätschenberger holiday home.
