Our holiday winery Andrea & Christian Scholtes is located in the wine village of Leiwen on the Roman Wine Route. Our guesthouse, where the comfortable *** / **** holiday apartments are situated, offers you a great start to your day and the best conditions for an unforgettable stay on the Moselle.

We, the Scholtes winemaking family, live and work around, in, and on our holiday winery. 

We cultivate Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir grapes on about 5 hectares of vineyard area.

Bicycles can be stored in a locked garage.

A magnificent view awaits the observer from the wooded Moselle heights over one of the most beautiful Moselle loops, which harmoniously embraces the old and traditional wine village of Leiwen. It is no wonder that this unique location between steep slopes, winding river bends, and expansive vineyards, combined with an unusually mild climate, attracted Celts, Romans, and Franks early on. The long tradition of the wine village of Leiwen undoubtedly dates back to the Romans, who gave the place its name and left wine as a legacy. The first documented mention of the village was in 633 AD.

In today's Leiwen, tradition and progress have created a pleasant synthesis; old, romantic facades and modern, charming houses shape the distinctive townscape. The beauty is evidenced by multiple awards in many village competitions and recognition as a "state-recognized resort".
