The holiday apartments Stadt Merzig, Appartement Piatti and Appartement Bücherliebe are both awarded 5 stars and are located in the heart of Merzig. The two apartments are two-story maisonette apartments and are situated in the idyllic pedestrian zone in a completely restored, listed historical building. Above the rooftops of the city, the apartments impress with their visibly open roof structure and the old wooden beams. The sanded beams in the upper floor, which you can access via a spiral staircase, give a charming and cozy character.
You look out onto the pedestrian zone and have a unique view from above of the beautiful historical neighboring houses and the Old Historical Town Hall. In the same building, you will also find an award-winning bookstore that invites you to browse. Our holiday apartments offer you the perfect central yet tranquil retreat to fully enjoy your vacation. The Merziger pedestrian zone is very quiet in the evenings. City festivals or the Viezfest are an exception. Here, you can feel at home and let your soul dangle.
Merzig offers a variety of recreational options for visitors. The city is situated in the midst of beautiful nature, ideal for hiking, cycling, and walking. In the surrounding area of Merzig, there are numerous hiking trails, such as the Saar-Hunsrück Trail or the Cloef Path, which offer breathtaking views of the Saar Valley and the surrounding forests. In addition, you can enjoy cycling along the Saar and savor the picturesque landscape.
For culture enthusiasts, there are regularly concerts, theater performances, and exhibitions in Merzig. The reservoir in Losheim is also easily accessible. A visit to the Municipal Museum Schloss Fellenberg, which provides insight into the city's history, is also worthwhile.

The bus connection to Luxembourg City runs hourly, so you can visit Luxembourg without parking worries. By the way, public transportation in Luxembourg is free. Luxembourg has its own airport. By car, Merzig is easily reachable via the A8. From Merzig, you can quickly reach Lorraine with its idyllic landscape and the historic city of Metz.

Please arrange your check-in with me. Arrival is from 3 PM. Departure by 10 AM. Our house is located in the pedestrian zone, the side entrance is on Friedrichstraße. There are paid parking spaces here and also in the parking garage of the town hall.
You can find the parking space concept of Merzig on the city's website. www.merzig.de/leben-in-merzig/mobilitaet-und-verkehr/parkraumkonzept/ A cheap long-term parking space is, for example, at the town hall. Fees apply from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Parking is free on public holidays.
