Enjoy your stay in the historic Art Nouveau villa, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Merzig with a view of the adjacent Museum Schloss Fellenberg and the Garden of Arts.

Supermarkets, bakeries, organic supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and the pedestrian zone are only a few minutes' walk away. For culture enthusiasts, the Museum Schloss Fellenberg, the Werner Freund Expedition Museum, the Fellenberg Mill and the Paul Schneider's sculpture park are only five minutes walk away. Merzig town hall and the public park are about 1 km away.

The location serves as an ideal starting point for tours and adventurous excursions! With the free Saarland Card, tourists receive free admission to over 100 leisure attractions. On request, we are happy to offer you a video-monitored bicycle cellar in the building with charging facilities for e-bikes. Please inform us before your arrival if you would like to store bicycles / e-bikes so that we can provide you with access to the cellar.

All rental apartments are contemporary and tastefully furnished with antique and trendy designer furniture in a well thought-out colour concept. Each flat offers a separate bedroom with a luxurious box-spring bed, a private, lockable bathroom with window, shower and hairdryer, a cosy living room, comfortable sitting areas, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooking hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher as well as pots, dishes, glasses and cooking and baking utensils. For entertainment, each apartment features two flat-screen satellite HDTVs, a bluetooth sound bar and a good selection of board games. Business travellers will enjoy a desk, free Wi-Fi with high-speed internet access and a laptop safe. In addition, each of the Saar-Apartments has an iron with ironing board, a washing machine and, moreover, there is a condenser dryer situated in the basement. Bed linen, towels, soap and hand sanitizer are provided. A foldable children's travel cot with comfortable mattress and a child's high chair can be provided upon request and availability. There is a library on the palier of the 1st floor. Every guest is welcome to bring up to three books in good condition from home and exchange them for existing books available in the library.

Merzig is located in the heart of the greater region Saar-Lor-Lux closed to the border with France and Luxembourg. The cities of Saarbrücken, Trier, Luxembourg and Metz are each only a maximum of 1 hour's drive away. The region is well known for its magnificent panorama. Discover the diversity of nature along idyllic rivers, meadows and forests. Explore the beautiful region on foot, by motorbike or by mountain bike or e-bike, and experience the variety of excellent hiking and cycling trails. Over 400 kilometres of premium hiking and bike trails for every level as well as numerous sights await you in Merzig, Saarland and the region. Villa Saar-Apartments is located at Annastrasse 22, directly in the centre of Merzig and only 2 km away from the A8 motorway (Luxembourg - Karlsruhe - Stuttgart - Munich). Parking is available free of charge in the street. For your safety, there is a first aid kit, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a digital access system with personal door codes.
