Welcome to our winery!
Our winery has existed since 1648 and is now in its 15th generation of family ownership.
For over 30 years, the love and responsibility for this winery and the associated vineyards have been in my hands. Taken over from my parents, I have continued to expand the winery. The cellar work and the pressing of the grapes, observing the fermentation process, filtering the wines, as well as the storage of the bottles until sale are all solely in my hands.
We are one of the oldest wineries in Enkirch, deeply connected to viticulture with love and passion. Wine and vineyards are my life; this passion is not only my profession but also my calling. I produce dry to sweet wines at my winery, and I also offer Mosecco and red wine liqueur. You can taste all of this in our tasting room or in our rarities cellar.
You can also spend your vacation in our newly renovated guest rooms.
We at the Gerd Kettermann winery invite you to get to know Enkirch – the heart of the Middle Moselle – from a different perspective.
Hiking with wine tasting in nature
In Enkirch, located between Trier and Koblenz, you can explore not only the four side valleys but also many hidden attractions. We hike with our house guests through vineyards, fields, and woods to viewpoints and other hidden corners that are not found in any travel guide. For example, you can take a bath in the unique natural bath in washed-out rock with fresh, flowing spring water in the Ahringstal.
Enjoy a wine tasting in nature with us.
The hikes are half-day or full-day – depending on agreement and your wishes.

Arrival by your own car:
Following the Moselle downstream from Koblenz or upstream from Trier: use the middle exit from the B53 into Enkirch. At the large intersection, just continue straight ahead, and you will automatically find yourself on the street "Im Steffensberg." After about 500m, you will find our house with the number 43 on the left side of the street.
Coming from the Hunsrück (from Raversbeuren), turn right at the large intersection in Enkirch shortly after entering the village at the Catholic Church (following the main road). After about 1.5 km, you will find our house No. 43 on the right side of the street.
