Our house is situated in the middle of the vineyards in a quiet location in the village of Palzem. This is where we grew up, this is our winery, our home and this is where we welcome you as our guests. As soon as you are here, it is time to arrive, switch off, enjoy and experience. The distant view from the balcony over the vineyards calms and inspires. Get to know wine culture! Taste our diverse wines in our newly designed vinotheque and find your favourite wine. Discover the wine region on foot while hiking or cycling. There are numerous hiking and cycling routes. The Moselsteig trail passes right by our house and calls you to the first or next stage - from Perl to Palzem or from Palzem to Nittel. We will be happy to give you tips and recommendations on activities and events during the planned holiday period even before your trip - because every season has different surprises in store here in the Moselle Valley.
Double room: There are four double rooms in our new house. In each room you have access to your private sun terrace or sun loggia, with views over the vineyards and the sunset over Luxembourg. Equipped with high-quality, individual carpenter furniture and oak parquet flooring, the rooms invite you to feel at home.
Holiday flats: Our new house has a total of three holiday flats - one of which is wheelchair accessible. Architect and carpenter from the region have made our holiday flats something unique and very special. Furniture and flooring made of oak give the rooms a natural warmth. Maximum comfort and a feel-good atmosphere are guaranteed.

VRT guest ticket included - free travel by bus & train:
This host issues the VRT guest ticket to its guests free of charge. This free ticket is valid for bus and train in regional traffic (RE and RB) in 2nd class in the entire VRT area and is valid during the entire stay, including the day of arrival and departure. Time at Sauerweins - Highlights:
Vinotheque: Combine your holiday with the discovery of regional wine culture and get to know our winery. The estate is directly connected to the guest area. Taste our diverse wines in our new vinotheque and find your favourite wine.
E-charging stations: You can safely store your bikes in our bike house right next door. In addition, you have the option of conveniently charging e-bikes.
Long-distance view: From every double room and every holiday flat you have access to your private terrace or sun loggia. From here you can enjoy the view and the sunset over the vineyards to the hills on the Luxembourg side of the Moselle.
Geothermal energy: The new building is sustainably heated via geothermal energy and cooled in summer, so that the feel-good temperature is guaranteed in every season. The underfloor heating throughout, combined with oak parquet flooring, ensures a warm feeling.
