For this holiday, you will need to travel with your own vehicle as different holiday destinations will be visited.

Many roads lead to the Mosel. Whether by train or car/motor home, the Mosel is always worth a trip. The following information may be useful for your travel planning: Directions to Mosel

• 5 x overnight stay with breakfast in typical, very beautiful accommodation with a special Mosel character: Apel Winery in Nittel on the Upper Moselle; Hotel Zeltinger Hof in Zeltingen-Rachtig on the Middle Moselle and Hotel Halfenstube in Senheim on the Lower Moselle; rooms in the upper category
• 3 x one glass of sparkling wine each as a welcome drink in all accommodations
• 4 x dinner: 1x 3-course menu with wine accompaniment in the winery restaurant; 1 x 4-course WeinWandDinner with wine accompaniment; 2 x 5-course dinners as part of the half board (additional drinks = self-pay)
• 1 x winery tour/guided tour
• 1 x 90-minute city tour in Trier (together with other guests)
• 1 x hiking backpack with snacks (1 backpack for 2 people)

Day 1/Sunday: Individual journey to Nittel; explore the town on your own; depending on the time available: hike the Moselsteige stage from Nittel to Palzem (approx. 16.4 km), outward or return journey possible by train (tickets not included = self-payers); or hike one of the 7 circular routes from/to Nittel (approx. 6-9 km); in the evening: 3-course menu with wine accompaniment; overnight stay at the Apel winery (category: comfort)

Day 2/Monday: After breakfast: tour of the winery; then continue (with your own car) to Trier; there city tour (11.00 am or 2.30 pm); then time to stroll around the city on your own; then continue to Zeltingen-Rachtig; in the evening: 4-course wine wall dinner with wine accompaniment; overnight stay at the Hotel Zeltinger Hof (category: Weinlage or Weinstyle)

Day 3/Tuesday: After breakfast hike e.g. to Bernkastel-Kues (approx. 7 km) or another beautiful destination from Zeltingen (there are a few suggestions); the evening is at leisure; dinner at the Zeltinger Hof a la carte or in another restaurant; overnight stay again in Zeltingen-Rachtig

Day 4/Wednesday: Continue along the Moselle via Traben-Trarbach, Zell to Bremm; here visit the steepest vineyard in Europe "Calmont" from the top (you visit the summit cross; from the car park walk of 1.7 km); a detour from there via Beilstein "Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle" is recommended; then continue to your next accommodation in Senheim; visit ofthe Villa SPA in the Hotel Halfenstube; in the evening 5-course menu of your choice; overnight stay at the Hotel Halfenstube (category: winegrower's suite with sauna in the hotel or junior suite with bathtub in the guest house/villa)

Day 5/Thursday: Visit to Cochem during the day (e. g. tour of the Reichsburg, boat trip on the Moselle etc. = self-payers); in the afternoon: Villa SPA at the hotel; in the evening: 5-course menu of your choice; Overnight stay again in Senheim

Day 6/Friday: You start your journey home or take a detour to Koblenz, the city on the Moselle & Rhine
