Various other places along your hike charge a "guest contribution" per person and night, which must be paid by the guest to the host on site in addition to the accommodation/travel price.

This trip requires your own car for arrival/departure and travel between Mosel towns.

Many roads lead to the Mosel. Whether by train or car/motor home, the Mosel is always worth a trip. The following information may be useful for your travel planning:

Day 2: Hike from Trier to Longuich (21.5 km). Typical regional dinner in the accommodation's restaurant

Day 3: Hike from Longuich to Mehring (15 km), dinner in a wine bar with regional cuisine in Fell in the restaurant "Zum Winzerkeller"

Day 4: Hike from Mehring to Trittenheim (20 km), dinner at the "Wein- und Tafelhaus" (1 Michelin star)

Day 5: Hike from Trittenheim to Piesport (17 km), onward transport to Zeltingen, dinner at the "Zeltinger Hof" restaurant.

Day 6: Individual departure
