Kinheim, with its districts Kindel and Kinheimer Höhe, has about 888 inhabitants.

Our village nestles long and steeply rising vineyards, surrounded by the Rosenberg and Hubertuslay vineyards on the left bank of the Moselle, and the Römerhang vineyard on the right bank of the Moselle in the Kindel district. These vineyards produce wines of the finest quality and excellence, which are loved and appreciated by wine lovers. Many Moselle friends and wine lovers who discovered our holiday resort and its wines have become enthusiastic friends of the wines that ripen here and of the village, which has so many remarkable things to offer. Kinheim still has the remains of a medieval castle, unique half-timbered houses and old wine farms - but also modern, cosy hotels, restaurants, cafes, guesthouses and holiday flats. You can also stay in Kinheim if you want to take advantage of the spa facilities in our two neighbouring towns: 12 km to Traben -Trarbach / Bad Wildstein with the only thermal baths on the Moselle, 15 km to Bad - Bertrich, the "little Karlsbad" with the only Glauber-Salz-Therme in Germany.
