Kegelbahn Lüxem

  • Wittlich-Lüxem

Bowling has a long tradition in Lüxem. As early as 1927, interested residents founded a bowling club. In addition to the sporting aspect, sociability and entertainment played a major role.

The first bowling alley in Lüxem stood "auf dem Weisrink", so the first bowling club in the village also bore the name "Weisring". Unfortunately, the bowling alley was completely destroyed during the Second World War. But ambitious bowling brothers wanted to maintain the sport and laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new lane in 1949, which has been used by the "Lausbuben" bowling club since 1967 until today.
