Combining Riesling steep slopes on Saar terroir and manual work in old winepress tradition with a place that tells the ancient cultural and intellectual history of the region - this excited Anna and Stephan Reimann so much that they founded the Cantzheim Winery in 2016. The Cantzheim estate was renovated and expanded in a modern way as a guesthouse, vinotheque and cultural place of enjoyment the Saar winegrowing region.
In addition to the guest house and winery, the Cantzheim team has also been spoiling you with exclusive, regional and seasonal cuisine in the in-house restaurant under the direction of head chef Maurice Redeligx since September 2024. After working for Claus Peter Lumpp (Restaurant Bareiss, Baiersbronn), Nils Henkel (Burg Schwarzenstein, Geisenheim) and Helmut Thieltges (Restaurant Sonora, Dreis), Maurice wants to realise his very own vision at Cantzheim and ‘create a place where guests can enjoy themselves’.
