Wine shop and wine terrace
The vineyards and areas currently cover a total of 8.5 hectares, where various grape varieties are cultivated. In the old press house, the hand-harvested grapes are processed gently. The wine is fermented at optimal temperatures in wooden and stainless steel barrels. Light, fruity, as well as powerful dry white and rosé wines characterize the product range. The focus is on the grape varieties of the Burgundy family and the cultural grape variety of the southern Moselle, the Elbling. Since Roman times, these ancient grape varieties have been planted and cultivated on soils made of fossil deposits from shell limestone. The special terroir from the ancient sea of the Paris Basin gives the wines their vibrant extra. The grape varieties include Elbling, Auxerrois, white and gray Burgundy, blue Spätburgunder, Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Kerner, blue Portuguese, and Dornfelder. The vines are cared for in various locations and municipalities. The estate site is the "Palzemer Carlsfelsen." In addition, vines are also cultivated in the steep location "Wehrer Rosenberg" and in the "Nenniger Schlossberg."
In the modern wine cellar or on the Mediterranean sun terrace, you can taste & enjoy the wines – together with selected regional specialties as wine companions. And all of this in a relaxed atmosphere with a view over the Moselle and the vineyards.
