Wine shop and wine terrace
The vineyards and areas currently cover a total of 8.5 hectares, where various grape varieties are cultivated.
In the old pressing house, the hand-harvested grapes are processed gently. The wine is fermented at optimal temperatures in wooden and stainless steel barrels. The product range is characterized by light, fruity, as well as powerful dry white and rosé wines.
The focus is on the grape varieties of the Burgundy family and the cultural grape variety of the southern wine Moselle, the Elbling. Since Roman times, this ancient grape variety has been grown and developed in the soil of fossil deposits from shell limestone. The special terroir from the ancient sea of the Paris basin gives the wines their lively extra.
The grape varieties include Elbling, Auxerrois, Weiß- and Grauburgunder, Blauer Spätburgunder, Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Kerner, Blauer Portugieser, and Dornfelder. The vines are maintained in various locations and towns. The estate vineyard is the "Palzemer Carlsfelsen." In addition, vines are also cultivated in the steep location "Wehrer Rosenberg" and in the "Nenniger Schlossberg."
In the modern vinotheque or on the Mediterranean sun terrace, you can taste & enjoy the wines - together with selected regional specialties as wine companions. And all this in a relaxed atmosphere with a view over the Moselle and the vineyards.
