Culinary flagship: Restaurant Dopamin Fine Dining
The host family Boesen draws on many years of experience in the hotel industry and sets a new gem in the Saar-Hunsrück region with Villa Keller. In the lovingly renovated, listed villa from 1801, historical heritage and modern design combine to create a unique boutique hotel – with a direct view of the medieval Saarburg castle and the Saar.
Culinary Showcase: Restaurant Dopamin Fine Dining
The family's touch is also noticeable in the culinary offerings. In the Restaurant Dopamin Fine Dining, Axel Boesen, brother of host Niko Boesen, has been responsible since September for a menu concept that highlights regional products in a new light. His cuisine combines the flavors of the Saar-Hunsrück region with Nordic-Asian influences, focusing on lightness and precision. This results in a fine dining experience that consciously distinguishes itself from classic formats and rethinks enjoyment in a modern way.
The experienced chef, who gained his expertise in international star gastronomy in Germany, Spain, and Switzerland, creates extraordinary dishes that tell stories and appeal to all the senses. “Every course triggers surprise, anticipation, reward – three dopamine hits per bite," the family describes the culinary concept of their fine dining restaurant.
Diverse enjoyment formats for every occasion
Restaurant Dopamin offers various culinary experiences:
Chef's Table (7-Course Menu): The heart of the restaurant is the exclusive Chef's Table, where up to eight guests can participate directly in the culinary happenings. It starts at 7:00 PM. Here, fine dining becomes an interactive experience – communicative, lively, and unforgettable.
Business Lunch (3 Courses): Fridays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, guests can enjoy a changing 3-course menu – perfect for an upscale lunch with business partners or a stylish lunch break.
Schnitzel & Champagne: Every Wednesday evening starting at 6:30 PM, the restaurant offers a specially crafted à la carte special – a perfectly prepared Wiener Schnitzel – where down-to-earth enjoyment meets an elegant atmosphere.
The regular menu includes 4-, 6-, or 7-course menus, served from Wednesday to Saturday starting at 6:30 PM. Our sommelier curates an exceptional selection of wines focusing on the best Rieslings from the Saar and Mosel – wines from winemakers who still cultivate their steep vineyards using traditional handwork.
