We cultivate our vineyards close to nature. The natural greening promotes the diversity of plants and animals and prevents soil erosion. Organic fertilization and gentle plant protection complement our efforts to care for the vines in harmony with nature. When the wines are made, we rely on gentle grape pressing and slow fermentation. It is the basis for clean, full-bodied wines that are bottled after a natural ripening period, so that you can then discover and drink them. During a wine tasting, you can then taste what the winegrower has in store for you through the care in the vineyard and the careful expansion in the wine cellar. We hope you enjoy discovering and enjoying our wines!

If you've always wanted to spend a vacation at a winery in Leiwen, then come and see us! We, the Christian Scholtes family, live and work on our holiday winery for three generations. We produce our Riesling wines and Pinot Noir red and rosé wines on around 7 hectares of vineyards. Leiwen hugs one of the many beautiful Moselle loops that won the `Most Beautiful Moselle View 2016` competition. This great location between steep slopes, the winding river and the extensive vineyards invites you to great hikes or simply to relax. Would you like to get to know our wines at a wine tasting?
