Filzen-Niesen Winery

WELCOME TO WEINGUT FILZEN-NIESEN - a traditional family business with a long history of winemaking, which I took over from my parents Mathilde and Josef Filzen-Niesen and continue on a small scale, but with a lot of passion, as a hobby. Being able to enjoy the evening sun on the steep slope of the vineyard with a view of Reil and the Moselle is a good balance to my work and always brings me joy. As a small child, I stood in the vineyard and I am happy that now even the first grandchild is following in my footsteps and discovering the joy of the vineyard.

We are a small family winery, and together with my wife and children, we carry out the year-round vineyard work, placing great importance on traditional methods and handwork. During the grape harvest in the fall, we can always count on the active support of family friends.

When it comes to our handpicked wines, quality is particularly important to us. I enjoy monitoring the ripening processes and look forward each year to enjoying the results of our collective work.

I regularly deliver our wines to various corners of Germany to maintain personal contact with our customers. Of course, we are also happy to send our wines to you by post upon request.
