Terroir-driven wines born from passion - certified organic wines from the best slate vineyards of the Middle Moselle.

Slate: this is the material that gives our wines character. We cultivate almost 6 hectares of our own steep vineyard areas, including in the best slate slopes of the Middle Mosel (e.g., Brauneberger Juffer and Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr – GG sites) and produce pure Rieslings and Weißburgunders full of energy and passion, which authentically express their terroir - with lively fruitiness, elegant minerality, and complex aromas. Certified organic, handpicked, spontaneously fermented, and vegan vinified.
After about 10 years of experience with nature-oriented (including herbicide-free) viticulture in our slate slope vineyards along the Middle Mosel and already ecological wine production, we began the certification for organic viticulture in 2019 and successfully completed it in 2021. All wines from the 2022 vintage are now also certified organic wines and may bear the EU organic seal.

All grapes are selectively hand-harvested at my estate, then spontaneously fermented with natural yeasts, are free from enzymes or other additives, and further vinified vegan (without the use of animal proteins). Only a little sulfur is used at the end of fermentation before bottling. The naturalness and authenticity of my wines come first. Our wines are also a great enjoyment even after 10-20 years and impress with liveliness and elegance.

Our wines receive high recognition from both discerning private customers and starred restaurants such as GERANIUM (*** Michelin) in Copenhagen, SCHANZ Restaurant (*** Michelin) in Piesport, ALOIS at Dallmayr in Munich (** Michelin), or BAGATELLE in Trier (* Michelin).
