Welcome to the old ferry tower, the landmark of Schweich! The ferry tower was built by Elector Clemens Wenzeslaus at the end of the 18th century. The Schweicher ferry tower was connected by a rope to a ferry tower on the opposite side of the Moselle. However, this was demolished in 1902 when the Moselle Valley Railway was being built. With the construction of the Moselle bridge in 1906, the ferry service was finally stopped. Today there is a maritime restaurant in the ferry tower. Here you can enjoy excellent cuisine and fine wines in a cozy atmosphere, also served on our large heated Moselle terrace, plus regional and international specialties. Table reservations are possible. Bike and motorcycle groups are very welcome!
