Rooftop Bar at DEINHARD's

The eye wanders over countless historical slate roofs in an endless variety, uninterrupted by the architectural excesses of so-called modernity, in a historic town like Bernkastel, which has held town rights for 800 years. Behind it majestically lies the green triangle of the famous "Bernkasteler Doctor," a vineyard of worldwide acclaim. From the tangle of roofs, the colossal structure of the Michael Tower and the Castle Hill rise, crowned by the ruins of Landshut Castle.

While you are already enjoying the incredible view, a nimble staff member from DEINHARD serves a glass of sparkling Deinhard sparkling wine, a well-chilled glass of Mosel wine, or your favorite cocktail. Also happily in a sociable group, on the “roof of DEINHARD,” inside behind the panorama window and outside in the green rooftop garden of the Rooftop Bar. The name is the program. The interior of the bar is adorned with an oversized image of the two satyrs, which the Cologne-born Peter Paul Rubens painted in an incomparable way in 1618, and by the way: even in Cologne, one drank the exquisite Mosel wine.
