Viticulture has been part of the Weber family for many generations.

Viticulture has been part of the Weber family for many generations. For the Weber brothers, it was their grandparents who introduced them to the "passion of vineyard work" at an early age. After successfully completing their oenology studies in Geisenheim, they bottled their first wines in 2012 and the Weber brothers now own three hectares of vineyards in and around Wiltingen on the Saar. The Weber brothers' wines are characterised by their close-to-nature work in the vineyard and cellar, which underpins their motto: "less is sometimes more". No herbicides are used in the vineyards; instead, small sheep graze the under-vine area. The wines are fermented with natural yeasts and there is no deacidification. This enables the terroir specific to the vineyard and vintage to be preserved and allows it to shine through beautifully in the wines of the Saar wine estate.
