Welcome to the Moselle Our classic Hoffranzen winery is located in the middle of the town center in Mehring and has been in our family property since 1601. We look back on a tradition characterized by steep slate slopes and Riesling. We cultivate and vinify only our own vineyards. Riesling - the epitome of white wine is at home on the steep bank slopes of the Mehringer Blattenberg, Mehringer Zellerberg and the Detzemer Maximiner Klosterlay. In the Mehringer Goldkupp location, our Burgundy grapes and Riesling for our Riesling multiplication table ripen. With careful manual work, a lot of diligence and humility in front of nature, we manage to manage our vineyards conventionally and close to nature. Selective hand-picking is essential for us to obtain fully ripe grapes. After all, this is the premise for mature, full-bodied and multifaceted wines. The heart of a winery is the cellar. Our aim is to gently process healthy and high-quality grapes into wine. We are proud to present you the result of our efforts and care. For us, wine production means passion, love for nature, for the product and, last but not least, for masterful craftsmanship.
