The Schroeder family has been engaged in viticulture since around 1700. In the Luxembourgish Rosport and the surrounding villages of the Girster Klause, our ancestors, who once lived by the river Sauer and derived their name from the guild of "Weinschroeter," settled as winemakers after the Thirty Years' War.
