Tavern "Wirtshaus mit Herz"

The Wirtshaus mit Herz is located in the town centre of Saarburg. The pub was successfully launched in March 2020 with a new name and experienced restaurateur Norbert Feth as the tenant. Together with his wife Ricarda and his team, a varied concept has been developed to delight guests. The history of the Renaissance building dates back to the first half of the 16th century. According to the database of cultural assets in the Trier region, the restaurant was known as the Hotel de la tete noire - Hotel zum schwarzen Kopf - in 1689/90. Kaiser Wilhelm II is also said to have frequented it. The bust above the portal of the main entrance gave the building its name.
