Temmel's Elblinghof

Since the 1990s, the winery has also been dedicated to bottle production and the creation of various types of wines and sparkling wines. The Elbling grape is particularly counted among the main varieties cultivated. The winery manages a total of 14 hectares of vineyards in and around Temmels. For years, the winery has refrained from using glyphosate and employs mechanical weed control. Furthermore, it is part of their philosophy to grow wines vegan.

From seven cultivated grape varieties such as Elbling, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, White Burgundy, Gray Burgundy, Blue Pinot Noir, and Regent, wines are produced every autumn in a traditional manner, resulting in both white wines as well as rosé and red wines. In addition to the wines, various types of sparkling wines are offered. And if you would like something with a higher alcohol content, you can try various spirits like the vineyard peach liqueur, winemaker coffee, or the brandy made from Elbling.

For a cozy get-together, the Temmelser Elblinghof invites you to their wine tavern twice a year. In addition to a presentation of the new vintages, they also offer small dishes. The harvest festival takes place annually on the second weekend in May (Mother's Day) and the first weekend in September.

If you want to learn more about viticulture, you can enjoy a guided wine tasting, where you will get a detailed insight from the cultivation to the bottling of the wines. And for those who enjoy being outdoors, the winery offers wine hikes through their vineyards.
