The family Viezgut Meyer is run in the first generation. Their apple orchards are located not only in and around Waldrach but also in Trier and Mehring. This brings together a wide variety of apple varieties, which are "gathered" by hand with the help of friends and relatives. Thus, during the harvest, care is taken to ensure that only the best apples reach the Viez. It is the diversity and quality of the apples that make a good apple wine.
In addition to the Viez, the Meyer family also produces Viez-Secco, Glühviez, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar.
