Weingut Blümling

Almost 20 years ago, my grandfather Aloys Blümling laid the foundation for my professional career as a winemaker. His joy in viticulture and nature inspired and enthused me so much that the choice of profession was an easy one for me.

Since the winegrowing profession offers many different facets and possibilities, I already used many opportunities to expand my knowledge in South Tyrol, New Zealand and also throughout Germany to gain valuable impressions and precious experiences.

My wife and I then decided to pursue my great passion independently in 2014 and founded our own winery.

We started with 0.5 hectares and now have a vineyard area of about 6 hectares. The Neefer Frauenberg, the Bullayer Brautrock and the Briedeler Schäferlay are our three best vineyards.

Through my knowledge of viticulture and cellar and her talent for organisation and design, we benefit from each other's different life experiences, discover ourselves and our wines anew every year and also like to fall back on tried and tested wines from previous vintages.
