Weingut Burg - not just the name of a winery, but an expression of lifeblood and passion for Moselle wine. These two attributes, coupled with a sense of tradition and youthful freshness, allow each of our wines to tell its own story.
Our ultimate goal is to produce high-quality wines while emphasizing the different characters of the wines. We are at the gates of Trier in the Moselle valley. The cold climate that prevails here (Cool Climate Viticulture) is not hostile to plants - on the contrary. The steep slopes orient the vineyards at the perfect angle to the sun. As a result, the slate heats up and can later release the heat back to the vines. Since the Moselle is embedded in the low mountain ranges such as the Hunsrück and Eifel, the cold air flows into the Moselle valley at night and cools the grapes. That is why Moselle wines are so famous for their fine acidity and elegance. In the vineyards Longuicher Maximiner Herrenberg Longuicher Herrenberg Schweicher Annaberg Longuicher Probstberg we work hard and create our wines. We have divided these into different lines based on the grape varieties and expansion variants.
