Our passion -Our winery Located in the heart of Trittenheim, our winery is only a stone's throw away from the vineyards that we cultivate all year round. We mainly grow Riesling on around seven hectares, but also Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris on the famous steep slopes around the Moselle loop. Our white wines reflect the characteristics of this extraordinary environment unadulterated. We achieve this by sticking to the values of our family winery and never losing sight of the most important thing: the passion for our work. Christoph & Ernst Eifel As a real Moselle child, I am proud to be able to continue the traditions of our family winery. For me, the management of the unique Riesling vineyards around my home is not a job, but a passion that was modeled on me from an early age. Because it is only with dedication that wines emerge from these sites that reflect their surroundings and the world-famous wine town of Trittenheim as well as our multi-award-winning winery.

Our wines

For us, vineyards in top locations are not just well-known jewelery: they shape our winery and each of our wines. Trittenheimer Altarchen, Trittenheimer Apotheke, Dhroner Hofberg or Neumagener Rosengärtchen - each of our locations has its own character, of which we are proud and which our wines clearly distinguish from one another. This tension and this game is what sets our wines apart. Regardless of whether you have a estate wine or the highest rating of our single-site wines by the glass. With a cultivation share of over 90% on a total area of around seven hectares, we have specialized in Riesling, because it reflects the Moselle like no other wine. In order to work out the different strengths of our sites and to ensure a consistently high quality of all wines, we rely on a combination of tradition and innovation. Intensive cultivation of the steep slopes, low yields, consistent grape selection and careful cultivation in harmony with nature - these are just four of the many factors that determine the identity of our wines and according to which we align our daily work. And you can taste this work: Thanks to careful grape processing, cool and controlled spontaneous fermentation in our wine cellar, aging in stainless steel and wooden barrels and storage on our own yeasts, wines are created that are among the top class of German Riesling.

Our guest house

Embedded in the most beautiful of all Moselle loops, you will find exactly what makes a real Moselle village in Trittenheim: numerous vineyards, taverns, tasting rooms, wineries and genuine hospitality. Our Moselle monastery invites you to experience this wine culture and way of life up close.
