German quality winery, in family hands for generations
Behind the website www.hermeswein.de stands the Hermes family, who has her roots for generations in Trittenheim on the Roman Wine Route.
As winemakers who grew up in the vineyards, we are committed to a special quality standard and exquisite wines. In our family winery, we nurture the proven, gently integrate the new, and continually perfect it. Our experience and our particular focus on quality are something we share with both our customers at our winery and our ever-growing circle of Hermes wine friends from around the world.

Rooted in Trittenheim on the Moselle
Our family winery is located in the center of the beautiful wine village of Trittenheim on the Moselle, the birthplace of the poet Stefan Andres and the great scholar Johannes Trithemius.
Nestled between the northern slope of the vineyard “Trittenheimer Altärchen” and the southern incline of the vineyard “Trittenheimer Apotheke,” the history of our winery is also situated in Trittenheim: Since the 1870s, the Hermes family has been cultivating Riesling grapes on the steep slate slopes of the famous Trittenheim sites.
