The Scherf winery is a family-owned business. In 1985, Erhard Scherf took over the operation from his father after completing his apprenticeship as a winemaker and passing his master craftsman exam. Since then, the winery has continuously expanded, particularly in the prime location of Kaseler Nies´chen. The management of the steep and hillside vineyards is done in an environmentally friendly manner. For many years, the winery has placed a special focus on marketing dry Riesling wines, which stand out for their invigorating freshness and heartiness. In the Mediterranean-style wine lounge, you have the opportunity to enjoy our wines in a pleasant and stylish atmosphere. A wine tasting on the sandstone terrace is a special culinary experience during the summer months. Wine tastings by appointment for up to 40 people
