 Our Winery

We cherish and carry the name "Geschwister Köwerich," even though making wine is easier than explaining the family tree...!

The name has an interesting history, tradition, and a strong connection to the region – and we believe it suits us very well. Even though we run the winery as a couple rather than siblings, the name is a symbol of community, collaboration, and the strong family bond that has been the foundation of the winery for generations.

Thus, the story of this family continues to live on today, both in the wines of the winery and in the connection to Beethoven, which makes the winery unique.

In addition to preserving this heritage, we also focus on maintaining sustainable and traditional cultivation methods. We uphold the so-called "single-post training" in the steep slopes – an ancient method where the vines are trained on a post, allowing for a particularly natural and artisanal care of the plants.

In this way, we can produce wines with character and depth that naturally reflect the essence of our region and the heart of our terroir – always respecting the history while keeping an eye on the future.
