The history of the Klaus Junk winery The Junk family has been growing wine on the Moselle since 1673. Claus Junk continues the family history in this tradition. The Klaus Junk family of winegrowers can look back on centuries of residence in the municipality of Leiwen. The activity in viticulture is closely related to this, a wayside cross erected in 1673 by my ancestor Ludwig Jung is proof of the down-to-earth nature and the connection to the Moselle region. Today's manor building at Euchariusstraße 23 was built in its present form in 1898. However, the cellar entrance and the building materials used there indicate a much older construction.

The Klaus Junk family of winegrowers can look back on centuries of residence in the municipality of Leiwen. Our longstanding idea: wine and relaxation result in an excellent symbiosis and this in the unique wine culture landscape along the Moselle. In our guest house we have taken up and implemented these perspectives. In our former barrel cellar, where the Moselle wines used to grow and mature in the traditional Moselle spring, you can now celebrate your event with up to 55 people. I will present you with an entertaining and interesting wine tasting with our estate wines. In the guest house VINUM Apartments. Languages: english
