Winery directly on the Ruwer
The Geiben family has been involved in viticulture since the time of Napoleon. In the late 1970s, the current owner, Peter Geiben, took over the winery. For him, it is a fascinating craft, with the opportunity to work with the vineyard ecosystem, using experience, knowledge, patience, and manual labor to produce wines of the highest quality.
The Rieslings are mostly fermented spontaneously with natural yeasts and predominantly produced in dry and off-dry styles. In suitable years, ice wines and late harvest wines are also pressed; additionally, bottle-fermented sparkling wines are produced.
