OUR WINERY The Loescher-Erben winery is located on the Terrassenmosel, idyllically situated in the middle between the wine towns of Cochem and Zell on a bend of the Mosel. Steep vineyards, barren slate soils, the gently winding Mosel, and the climatic influences from the Hunsrück and Eifel shape our wines. Riesling and the grape varieties from the Burgundy family are the kings here. Sustainable and responsible practices in the vineyard and cellar allow for the creation of individual wines. Natural artworks that combine elegance, sustainability, and joy of drinking. Our story is told through the dew drops in the morning, the clinking slate in the summer heat, the wooden barrels made from local oak, and the loud laughter of the many diligent people working in the vineyard. Let yourself be transported into our world of wines. We warmly invite you to visit our wine cellar. WINE TASTING Get to know our wines, liqueurs, and brandies at the place where they are made. From April to the end of October, every Friday starting around 4:15 PM, we hold a wine hike followed by a cellar tour (approx. 2.5 hours), which you are welcome to join. Experience our wines where they are created and learn interesting and amusing facts about our region. WINE HIKE Packing our backpacks, we hike through our beautiful Senheim Mosel landscape. We stop at the various vineyards of our estate and taste the wines at the places where they have grown while listening to their stories. This wine hike is available only upon request. We will personally determine the length and duration with you. Please feel free to contact us. We look forward to seeing you!
