SINCE 1727 - family ties in the best sense of the word. Each generation has developed the winery for itself and consolidated it in its tradition. In the course of time, the estate developed from a former mixed farm with cattle and pastureland into a pure winery. The family has always been turned towards change. In the 1970s, contrary to the zeitgeist of the time, the first wines were made dry. With success!
In 2013 I took over the business from my parents, Nikolaus and Maria Lorenz. The manual economy, an environmentally conscious approach to nature and the highest quality standards connect me with my ancestors. My wines should let their origins taste. We think that diligence, precise work and craftsmanship make our wines what they are: fascinating unique pieces. The basis for this are the striking steep slopes of the Moselle valley, on which our vines are rooted. Nature is her home. We have been cultivating them for generations in one of the most magical landscapes on earth with the aim of creating an unmistakable plant from every single berry! Vineyard area: 8 ha Grape varieties: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay Others: winery tour, vineyard hike Wine tasting for up to 10 people Vinotheque: open Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
