Weingut Lunnebach

The business was founded by Peter Josef Lunnebach through his marriage; today, Karsten Lunnebach manages the winery. The vineyard area has grown from 1.5 hectares to around 8 hectares over the past decades. The business focuses on natural winegrowing and completely avoids insecticides in the vineyards. The motto "Quality over Quantity" shapes both the work in the vineyard and in the cellar: The reduced pruning leads to lower yields but higher must weights, which helps the wines achieve character and harmony. Traditional methods are valued in the cellar, but modern technology and targeted care measures also contribute to the process.

The main grape varieties are Riesling (about half of the area), Spätburgunder, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau), and Dornfelder and Acolon.
In addition to wines, winemaker's sparkling wine, Riesling Secco, fine distillates (e.g., vineyard peach liqueur, pear brandy) and grape juice are produced. The range combines tradition with modern cellar techniques and offers both classic Mosel wines and innovative products.

Annual events include harvest festivals, young wine tastings, and vineyard tours. The vineyards encompass esteemed Mosel terroirs such as the Gülser Bienengarten, Gülser Königsfels, and the Koblenzer Marienberg.
