In a grandiose and fascinating landscape, it is our vocation and a challenge at the same time to practice viticulture; and this for generations. In harmony with the natural conditions and out of respect for nature, it is our goal to be able to pass it on to future generations. Our leading variety, the Riesling, is able to represent the almost inexhaustible mineral supply of the individual slate formations like no other grape variety. With this in mind, our philosophy is to produce wines that are authentic and full of character. To take care of our vineyards, we combine traditional values with the latest professional knowledge. Human intuition and creativity are indispensable in our terraced vineyards, and we ourselves maintain close contact with our vines through various tasks. In the vineyard we work to preserve a unique landscape and to produce high quality wines. Almost all operations in our steep and terraced vineyards are done by hand. Man with his senses is more creative than any machine. Each operation in the cycle of the seasons, such as pruning, bending, untying, defoliation and reading, is a mosaic piece for quality production. Even though the work becomes routine over time, each year presents new challenges in working the vines.

Brandies and liqueurs from Winningen: For over 100 years, the distilling right has been at home in the Kröbers family. During the distillation process, patience coupled with routine is required to produce "high spirits" from the respective fruit.
