You will find the Schumann wine estate in Lieser on the Moselle. The family has been growing grapes since the 16th century. From this tradition, noble wines can be produced.
The Schumann winery can be found in Lieser on the Moselle. Since the 16th century, viticulture is practiced in the family. Out of this tradition noble wines can be produced. Natural viticulture is practiced. Likewise, high yields are avoided so that fully ripe grapes can be harvested. The vineyard sites are: Lieser Rosenlay and Niederberg-Helden as well as the Piesporter Goldtröpfchen. The winery has been awarded, among others, by the Chamber of Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate in recent years with the gold, silver and bronze medals as well as the honorary award in 2016. The wine magazine recommends the wines of the winery in 2018. In addition, the winery won the award "Der Beste Schoppen" in 2016 with a Riesling Trocken. The Feinschmecker also recommends the winery in its November 2016 issue. If you would like to spend your Mosel vacation at a winery, guest rooms are available for you.
