Saar wine from passion! – For now 6 generations, our family has been cultivating vineyards in Oberemmel. Our focus is on producing lightly sparkling Rieslings and fruity Burgundy wines. Our partly over 60-year-old vines take root deep into the mountain on the steep slate slopes of the Saar. The poor clay slate soils from the Devonian geological period and the special microclimate of the cool side valleys of the Saar provide perfect conditions for our vines. With a share of 75%, our main focus is on Riesling, the queen of white wine varieties. Rivaner, Auxerrois, White, Gray, and Pinot Noir complete our range of varieties. Our wines are handcrafted with the utmost care, ensuring that the potential of each parcel is fully expressed. The goal is to produce authentic wines with moderate alcohol content.
