Saar wine out of passion! – For now 6 generations, our family has been engaged in viticulture in Oberemmel. Our focus is on producing lightly sparkling Rieslings and fruity Burgundy wines. Our partly over 60 years old vines root deep into the mountain on the steep slate slopes of the Saar. The poor clay slate soils from the Devonian period and the special microclimate of the cool side valleys of the Saar provide perfect conditions for our vines. With a share of 75%, our main focus is on Riesling, the queen of white wine varieties. Rivaner, Auxerrois, white, grey, and spätburgunder complete our range of varieties. Our wines are handcrafted with the utmost care to develop the potential of each parcel. The goal is to produce authentic wines with moderate alcohol content. Highest quality standards and a careful approach to nature help us create unique Saar wines. Try it yourself!
