Weingut St. Nikolaus-Hof

Up the Middle Moselle, between Bernkastel-Kues and Trier, lies the wine village of Leiwen. Immediately on the outskirts, idyllically adjacent to the vineyards, is our St. Nikolaus-Hof winery. We love the work in the vineyards and our Moselle valley. Therefore, our viticulture philosophy follows the maxims of sustainability and quality. Environmentally-friendly cultivation of the vineyards, such as the organic humus supply for the soil, is just as important as a quality-oriented pruning of the vines. More than 95% of our areas are planted with the finest grape variety, Riesling. Three vineyards make our wines so varied: Leiwener Klostergarten, Leiwener Laurentiuslay and Trittenheimer Apotheke.
