Listed half-timbered house meets top-quality wines!
The listed half-timbered house is considered one of the most beautiful half-timbered properties in the entire Mosel Valley. The present winery Treis was built in 1580 as a summer residence for the Counts Boos of Waldeck. For 12 generations, first-class and award-winning wines from the best vineyards of Zell have been produced here.
We offer wine tastings, wine sales, consultations, and serving in our courtyard from Monday to Sunday. The range includes not only steep-slope Rieslings but also a very extensive selection of other grape varieties and wines.
From spring to autumn, the courtyard serving area is open, and wine can be enjoyed in the historic inner courtyard, in the vaulted cellar, or directly in the adjacent vineyard. Personal consultations when purchasing wine are, of course, provided, and commented wine tastings can also be conducted by appointment.
